Founded in 1978 and separately incorporated in 1983, NOSS is the marketing arm of the national group purchasing organization (GPO), MedAssets HSCA for northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. NOSS membership includes 226 organizations representing acute care hospitals, nursing homes, surgery centers, clinics, schools, EMS units, provider pharmacies, adult feeding programs and physicians group practices.
MedAssets HSCA is the third largest group purchasing organization in the country, serving more than 22,000 healthcare providers nationwide with purchasing power approaching $10 billion in gross throughout.
