Founded by The Hospital Council of Northwest Ohio (HCNO) in 1978 and separately incorporated in 1983, Northwest Ohio Shared Services (NOSS) is the regional marketing arm for Vizient, a national group purchasing organization. NOSS provides members throughout northwest Ohio, southeast Michigan and northeast Indiana with aggregate purchasing power through a supply chain portfolio offered by Vizient. NOSS has more than 250 members, including hospitals, nursing homes, surgery centers, clinics, schools, EMS units, provider pharmacies, adult feeding programs and physician practices.
